Job Summary

The Interior Designer - Production will be responsible for preparing detailed working drawings, production drawings, and coordinating with the factory and site teams to ensure accurate execution of interior and furniture projects. The role requires strong AutoCAD knowledge and understanding of materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Drawing

Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings (layouts, elevations, sections, and shop drawings). Convert concept designs into production-ready drawings. Prepare furniture, modular kitchen, wardrobe, and interior detailing drawings.

Production Coordination

Share drawings with the factory and explain technical details. Coordinate with production team for materials, sizes, finishes, and hardware. Resolve drawing-related queries from the factory and site teams.

Site Support

Provide drawings to site team for installation. Visit site when required for measurements and clarifications. Ensure design is executed as per drawings.

Material & Hardware Knowledge

Select and specify materials, boards, laminates, veneers, fittings, and hardware. Coordinate with vendors for material specifications.

Quality & Accuracy

Ensure all drawings are accurate and as per project requirements. Check production outputs against drawings to avoid errors and wastage.

Skills & Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Interior Design or Architecture. Strong knowledge of

AutoCAD

(2D working drawings mandatory). Knowledge of furniture production, modular work, and site execution. Understanding of materials, hardware, and finishes. Ability to work with factory and site teams.

Experience Required

2-5 years in interior or furniture production. Experience in residential, commercial, or modular furniture projects preferred.

Software Knowledge

AutoCAD (mandatory) SketchUp / 3Ds Max (preferred) MS Excel, MS Word

Pay: ₹12,401.85 - ₹52,340.45 per month
