Job Summary

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and passionate Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for a variety of clients. This role involves managing projects from the initial concept phase through to final installation, working closely with clients, architects, and contractors to bring a vision to life. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, building codes, and industry trends, as well as proficiency in relevant design software.

Core Responsibilities:

Client Consultation & Design Concept:

Meet with clients to determine their project goals, preferences, and budget. Develop detailed design concepts, including mood boards, sketches, and presentations, to effectively communicate the proposed design. Provide expert advice on space planning, color schemes, lighting, materials, furniture, and finishes.

Technical Design & Documentation:

Create detailed 2D and 3D design plans, drawings, and renderings using professional design software. Develop technical specifications for materials, furniture, and fixtures (FF&E). Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, health and safety regulations, and accessibility standards.

Project Management & Execution:

Develop project timelines and budgets, and manage the project to ensure deadlines and financial targets are met. Source and procure materials, furniture, and other products, negotiating with suppliers and vendors. Coordinate and collaborate with architects, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure the seamless implementation of the design. Conduct on-site supervision and quality checks to ensure the design is executed according to plans and specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

A bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.

Experience:

Proven experience in a professional interior design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of completed projects (residential and/or commercial).

Technical Proficiency:

Proficiency in professional design software is essential. This includes, but is not limited to:

2D/3D CAD:

AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.

3D Modeling & Rendering:

SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, or other rendering software.

Adobe Creative Suite:

Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for presentations and image editing.

Fundamental Knowledge:

Deep understanding of design principles, including space planning, color theory, lighting, and acoustics. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships and collaborate with project teams. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a practical approach to overcoming design challenges. Strong attention to detail and a high level of organization to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creativity, imagination, and the ability to translate a client's vision into a stunning and functional reality.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
