Shiv Shakti Decor and Furniture House is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer on a freelance or project basis. The ideal candidate will bring creative design solutions, excellent space planning, and a strong aesthetic sense that aligns with client needs and brand style. Projects may range from modular kitchens and home interiors to office or commercial spaces.

You'll work closely with our in-house team, vendors, and clients to conceptualize and deliver turnkey interior solutions.

Responsibilities:

Understand client requirements and translate them into functional and aesthetic designs. Create mood boards, 2D layouts, and 3D visualizations using design software. Design and execute modular kitchen, wardrobe, and full-home interior projects in collaboration with our showroom and product offerings. Provide BOQs, material specifications, and timelines for each project. Coordinate with vendors, carpenters, and in-house staff for project execution. Conduct site visits and supervise implementation as per design. Ensure designs are within budget and meet project deadlines. Source and suggest materials, fittings, and furnishings as needed. Present design proposals to clients with professionalism and clarity.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):

1. Design Development:

Deliver creative and functional designs based on client briefs. Use software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 3ds Max for presentations.
2. Client Coordination:

Handle client presentations, feedback, and design iterations professionally. Build trust and long-term working relationships with clients.
3. Project Execution:

Ensure end-to-end delivery of assigned interior design projects. Monitor timelines, vendor coordination, and site progress.
4. Brand Alignment:

Maintain design consistency with Shiv Shakti Decor's quality and aesthetic standards. Incorporate showroom product lines (furniture, modular kitchens) in design solutions.
5. Cost & Resource Management:

Optimize designs based on budget constraints and available materials. Provide accurate material and resource estimates.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or related field. Proven experience in residential or commercial interior design projects. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design tools. Strong visualisation, communication, and project management skills. Based in or willing to travel to Dharamshala for project visits. Freelancers/agencies with a solid portfolio are welcome to apply.
