Job Summary

The Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing interior design projects for residential, commercial, and retail spaces. The role includes creating functional and aesthetic layouts, 3D visualizations, material selection, and coordinating with clients, vendors, and site teams for timely project delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Planning

Develop creative design concepts based on client requirements. Prepare space planning, furniture layouts, and working drawings. Create 2D drawings, 3D models, and renderings (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, etc.). Prepare BOQ, material specifications, and design presentations. Ensure designs are functional, practical, and aligned with client expectations.

Project Coordination

Conduct site visits for measurements and design evaluations. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, carpenters, and project managers. Monitor design execution to ensure adherence to approved drawings. Resolve site-related design issues and provide technical guidance.

Client Management

Interact with clients to understand requirements and present design solutions. Manage client feedback, revisions, and approvals. Maintain strong communication throughout the project cycle.

Material & Vendor Management

Select appropriate materials, finishes, and decor items as per budget and design. Liaise with vendors for costing, samples, and availability. Maintain updated knowledge of design trends, materials, and market rates.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design / Architecture (preferred). Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, etc. Good understanding of materials, furniture, lighting, and color combinations. Excellent visualization, creativity, and design sense. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Salary Range

25K-35K
