The 3D Visualizer & 2D Draftsman at MERGEBUILT is responsible for creating visually compelling 3D renderings and detailed 2D technical drawings to support the design and construction of interior and architectural projects. This role bridges the gap between design concepts and execution, ensuring precision, creativity, and adherence to project requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in 3D visualization and technical drafting, preferably in the interior or construction industry.
Proficiency in software tools: AutoCAD, 3ds Max, V-Ray, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Revit.
Knowledge of cutting list for production.
Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
Excellent eye for detail and spatial awareness.

Roles & Responsibilities
Develop realistic and high-quality 3D renderings of interior and exterior spaces.
Create photorealistic visuals, including lighting, textures, and finishes, using industry-standard software (e.g., 3ds Max, V-Ray, SketchUp, Lumion)
Present 3D visuals to clients to help them understand the design vision.
Update 3D models based on client feedback and project changes.
Prepare accurate 2D technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
Create shop drawings for furniture, fixtures, and custom design elements.
Ensure that all technical drawings are precise, scaled, and meet project specifications.
Work closely with interior designers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements
Translate conceptual ideas into detailed designs and visuals.
Provide input to enhance the feasibility and functionality of design concepts.
Incorporate specified materials, finishes, and color schemes into 3D models and technical drawings.
Coordinate with the design team to ensure consistency in material usage and design intent.
Develop compelling presentation materials, including renderings, drawings, and mood boards.
Assist in creating client presentations to showcase design concepts and project progress.
Visit project sites to ensure alignment of design details with execution.
Revise drawings and 3D visuals based on site conditions and construction changes.
Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other relevant tools.
Stay updated on the latest software developments and rendering techniques.
