The Interior Design Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales through exceptional customer service, design expertise, and product knowledge. This role involves understanding client needs, creating personalized design solutions, preparing design proposals, and converting inquiries into successful sales. The consultant works closely with design teams, vendors, and customers to deliver high-quality interior solutions for residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist clients in the showroom or through scheduled appointments, understanding their interior design needs and project goals.
Provide expert design advice, including space planning, color coordination, material selection, furniture layout, and decor styling.
Prepare detailed design concepts, mood boards, product presentations, and quotations based on client requirements.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, designers, and suppliers to ensure project accuracy and timely execution.
Develop strong product knowledge regarding furniture, furnishings, materials, lighting, and interior accessories.
Generate and follow up on leads, convert inquiries into confirmed sales, and achieve monthly sales targets.
Conduct site visits and take accurate measurements when needed.
Maintain records of customer interactions, design proposals, purchase orders, and project progress.
Work with the installation team to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
Participate in promotional activities, exhibitions, and showroom displays.
Provide exceptional post-sales support to develop long-term customer relationships.
Stay updated with interior design trends, technologies, and market competition.
