Creating and modifying design documents, including floor plans, elevations, and renderings, using CAD software ( AutoCAD).
Assisting in the selection of furniture, fixtures, and materials.
Developing material boards and presentation materials.
Conducting research on design trends, materials, and products.
Technical Support:
Assisting with the preparation of construction documents.
Taking site measurements and documenting existing conditions.
Organizing and maintaining material libraries and samples.
Administrative Support:
Assisting with project coordination and communication.
Maintaining project files and documentation.
Communicating with vendors and suppliers.
Assisting with client presentations and meetings.
Helping with scheduling and organization.
Site and Installation Support:
Accompanying senior designers on site visits.
Assisting with on-site installations and styling.
Documenting site progress with photographs and notes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD).
Familiarity with 3D modeling and rendering software (SketchUp).
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Basic understanding of building codes and construction practices.
