Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost and quality.
Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendors (local & import).
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers.
Approve and monitor purchase orders and vendor deliveries.
Coordinate with stores, production, accounts, and logistics teams.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, GST, and statutory requirements.
Evaluate vendor performance and resolve supply issues.
Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and MIS.
Manage import procurement documentation (if applicable).
Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
4-8 years
of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost-saving skills.
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
Knowledge of GST, imports, logistics, and inventory control.
Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Experience in electronics / EV / manufacturing industry preferred.
