Through quality training, personalized support, and opportunities for employment and self-employment, we aim to transform lives and foster sustainable income generation.

Position Overview:

The

Head of Operations

will be responsible for the end-to-end execution and management of the Hastakala project. This includes overseeing community mobilization, ensuring high-quality training delivery, enabling placement and self-employment opportunities, and monitoring impact. The ideal candidate is passionate about women's empowerment, has strong program management skills, and is experienced in grassroots operations. This is a full-time job with 8 hrs working hrs from Monday to Saturday. The working hrs will be flexible as per the need of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Implementation & Management

Oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of tailoring and beautician training programs. Coordinate with trainers, training centers, and field teams to ensure smooth operations. Ensure quality control in training delivery, curriculum adherence, and hands-on skill development. Develop strategies to bring innovation, creativity in eco-friendly, recycled products matching with the current market trens in consensus with Hastakala-Project Heads Identify different online and offline avenues for product sales and help women find out opportunities for income generation

Community Mobilization

Support outreach efforts with MSW to identify and enroll eligible women from marginalized communities. Build relationships with local community leaders, SHGs, and NGOs to strengthen grassroots engagement.

Training Quality & Assessment

Monitor training sessions to ensure learner engagement and skill acquisition. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure progress and skill proficiency. Organize certification processes in alignment with recognized skill bodies (if applicable).

Employment & Income Generation

Facilitate job placement, internships, or apprenticeships for course graduates. Support women in setting up their own micro-enterprises or home-based services. Create linkages with local businesses, salons, boutiques, and tailoring units to generate orders.

Monitoring, Reporting & Impact Tracking

Maintain accurate records of training batches, participant progress, and employment outcomes. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for internal and donor reporting. Track long-term impact metrics such as income upliftment and sustained employment.

Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead and mentor the operational team including trainers, mobilizers, and support staff. Coordinate with other departments (communications, fundraising, finance) to ensure alignment. Any other tasks assigned by the management.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Management, or related field. 5-8 years of relevant experience in skill development, livelihood programs, or women's empowerment. Proven experience in grassroots mobilization, training program management, or NGO operations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to lead field teams. Fluency in local language(s) and comfort with digital tools for reporting and coordination.

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience, including travel and field allowances.
