Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide JOB TITLE & JOB CODE Interface Manager/SSM PURPOSE OF THE JOB To define and manage the interfaces between Electro Mechanical (E&M) Subsystems (Rolling Stock, Signalling, Supervision, Telecommunications, Passenger Information, CCTV, Power Supply, Ticketing, ) , either within Alstom contract or with other contractors or partners. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Key accountabilities: Interface Manager responsibilities include : Define the System Interface management process : interface identification, interface register, taking into account the global Alstom Transport interests Define the System Interface Control Documents (SICD) by pairs of Subsystems Organise the consistency of the interfaces relevant to E&M Manage the detailed interfaces definition (Software Interface Design Description (SIDD), cabling consistency, ) relevant to E&M Prepare the integration phase Performance measurements: Interface management plan and interface register agreed by the subsystems for the SGR Preliminary interfaces specification agreed by the subsystems for the PGR Interfaces specifications agreed by the subsystems for the CGR MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES Educational Requirements Mandatory: University Degree in Engineering or equivalent Experience Mandatory: Field experience and a good knowledge of railway systems, available E&M equipment and Subsystems At least 10 years of experience in Engineering / Technical functions including 5 years in projects Expert in System Engineering Competencies & Skills Apply ALSTOM Discipline and Processes Use Seasoned Judgement Use Technical and Industry Experience Demonstrate Team, Trust, Action values Foster Open Dialogue and Listens Manage Conflicts of Ideas A good level of English, other languages would be an asset A good working relationship Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrow\'s mobility.
