Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal care and improve patient outcomes. Perform procedures such as endotracheal intubation, central line placement, and ventilator management. Ensure effective communication with patients' families regarding prognosis, treatment plans, and care decisions. Participate in the development of ICU protocols and quality improvement initiatives. Supervise and mentor ICU staff, including residents and fellows, in critical care management. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in critical care medicine and apply evidence-based practices.

Qualifications:

Medical degree MD/DNB(Anaesthesiology) from an NMC recognized institution. IDCCM will be added advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Ability to manage high-pressure situations with a calm and systematic approach.
