Job Description

An Intensivist is a specialized critical care physician managing severely ill patients in intensive care units. They provide advanced life support, monitor complex conditions, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure evidence-based treatment for life-threatening medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

Manage critically ill patients in intensive care Perform advanced life support and emergency interventions Monitor vital parameters using critical care technologies Coordinate with multidisciplinary medical and nursing teams Develop and adjust evidence based treatment plans Communicate patient status with families and caregivers Ensure infection control and ICU safety protocols Supervise residents and critical care medical staff.

Strong clinical decision making under high pressure Expertise in ventilator and hemodynamic management Excellent communication with teams and patient families Advanced knowledge of critical care medicine protocols Ability to perform emergency invasive medical procedures Leadership skills for managing intensive care units
