The IA Business Analyst is a key member of the team, working as a champion for Business Process Improvement, orchestration and automation. The role works very closely with the IA Delivery Lead, IA Developers, IA Operation and Control Admins, Solution Architects, and Business SMEs, and would be required to help other team members as required. The role requires strong technical and business analysis skills and is responsible for understanding the business and system requirements for automating and orchestrating Business Processes through Workflow, RPA and Process Mining, assessing the impact of changes, analysing and documenting the requirements, and communicating and delivering those requirements as part of the implementation team. Responsibilities Participate in the definition and improvement of the overall Intelligent Automation value proposition. Have an up to date view of the latest BPM, BPMS, RPA and Process Mining technologies and innovations and contribute to the IA Delivery Methodology and Strategy. Define and develop the quality standards and best practices for Intelligent Automation to ensure that work is done to the highest possible standard. Conduct initial Business Process analysis to assess suitability of projects and build the pipeline, and to prioritize the pipeline against agreed criteria. Identify project stakeholders and interests, opportunities and challenges, business services and processes impacted. Develop Business Case, define the impact, establish project and solution scope, manage the resources required for delivery, and explore solutions. Analyze Business Process, assess impact and assess risks, identify problems and key functionality such as tasks and services and describe users. Identify key performance indicators and manage monitoring requirements. Describe and model the As-Is, identify process improvements and reengineer to improve orchestration potential Define Business Concepts, objects and rules, as well as any required data models. Define non-functional service level requirements, (volumes, scalability, availability, security) and plan the Service implementation alongside the IA Operation and Control Admins. Capture, manage and communicate functional and non-functional requirements. Support the team in the design, build and implementation of the overall solution. Review, contribute to, and support test plans and scripts. Set out requirements for any required user training, run workshops and training sessions. Provide technical support in operation to the Business Owners, Users and IA Operation and Control Admins. Actively participate within the team, providing timely updates to stakeholders during project delivery Experience/Skills Excellent and effective communicator, both verbally and written, to all levels of management, and externally Experience in business and system analysis, and Business Process Management, including process improvements and process reengineering (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean) Familiarity with software development and implementation lifecycle. Experience in Business Process modelling and use of the BPMN standard. Experience in Workflow, RPA and Process Mining development and implementation lifecycle, preferably experience with IBM BAW, UiPath or Celonis Experience of defining Business Data models, objects and services, and mapping data between services.
