The Cloud and Connectivity organization is actively looking for an Integration Operations Engineer to join them. Do you like to solve challenges and have an interest in large scale impact? Job Summary:




The Integration Engineer is responsible for the deployment, configuration, monitoring, and lifecycle management of enterprise Data movement and messaging platforms including IBM WebSphere MQ/MQFTE, Axway B2Bi, IBM Aspera and IBM App Connect. This role ensures secure, compliant, and efficient integration across internal systems and external partners.


The engineer will manage messaging setups, partner configurations, certificate and key updates, and support secure data exchange protocols such as AS2/AS3/AS4, sFTP. Responsibilities also include platform upgrades, incident and change management, CMDB maintenance, and license compliance.


The role demands strong expertise in Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments, along with a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, automation, and vulnerability management. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is essential to maintain high availability, performance, and security across integration platforms.

Key Responsibilities:



IBM MQ/MQFTE



Perform installations, uninstallations, migrations, and upgrades of IBM WebSphere MQ/FTE Manage Router ID configurations. Create, delete, and modify messaging setups and channels. Maintain DMR accounts and ensure they are always updated, especially during retirements. Handle production and non-production alerts. Respond to and resolve incidents related to MQ operations. Upgrade wrapper and unwrapped components. Manage CMDB entries related to MQ infrastructure. Maintain quality documentation for MQ processes and changes. Assist in IBM WebSphere MQ license management. Design and maintain MQ architecture. Ensure proper software upgrades and route removals during system retirements.

eCommerce (Axway B2BI and SFTP)



Support setup and monitoring of trading partner transactions with third parties. Perform certificate and key updates, including CRON job maintenance. Configure and maintain AS2/AS3/AS4, sFTP network connections. Manage external partner onboarding and changes via Axway B2Bi. Provide administrative support including email and alert management. Monitor Axway B2Bi server performance and health. Handle incidents, change requests (CHG), service requests (SR), and problem records (PRB). Assist in eCommerce license management and compliance. Contribute to eCommerce architecture design and enhancements. Perform software upgrades for eCommerce platforms. Maintain and update the Third-Party Engagement Tracking (TPET) for external data movement collaboration.

IBM Aspera



Perform installation and upgrades of IBM Aspera components. Create and retire Aspera Shares. Manage users in Aspera Shares and Console. Maintain CMDB entries for Aspera infrastructure. Oversee vulnerability management and ensure security compliance. Maintain quality documentation for Aspera operations. Design and support IBM Aspera Enterprise and CLUWE architectures. Assist in IBM Aspera license management and compliance. Manage certificates and Aspera Connect. Support Enterprise and CLUWE platform operations and administration. Perform RHEL platform migrations and upgrades for Aspera. Handle incident, change, and service request (SR) support.

IBM App Connect



Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of IBM App Connect components. Design and manage integration flows for enterprise applications and data systems. Monitor and troubleshoot App Connect services and flows to ensure reliability. Handle incidents, service requests (SR), changes (CHG), and problem records (PRB). Maintain CMDB entries and ensure accurate documentation of integration assets. Manage certificates and security configurations for App Connect environments. Assist in IBM App Connect license management and compliance tracking. Support architecture design and enhancements for App Connect platforms. Ensure integration flows meet enterprise security and performance standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to automate and optimize data movement processes.

Soft Skills:



Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges. Proven leadership and team management experience, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to prioritize, multitask, Interest in upskilling and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Your Qualification:



Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience. 3

12 years of experience in environments with relevant exposure to IBM MQ/FTE, IBM Aspera, IBM App Connect, Axway B2Bi, shell scripting, and automation.

Solid experience with Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments Familiarity with certificate management and renewal workflows Hands-on experience with CMDB systems and configuration tracking Basic understanding of vulnerability management and security compliance Practical exposure to ITIL-based incident, change, and SR handling Experience supporting enterprise architecture and license governance Ability to write automation scripts and use system monitoring tools Proficient in using ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms Capable of maintaining documentation aligned with CSQA/security standards

Desirable Skills:



Experience with IBM MQ/FTE, Axway B2Bi, IBM Aspera, and IBM App Connect Familiarity with CMDB, DMR, and enterprise license management Understanding of security, compliance, and vulnerability management Ability to collaborate across teams and shifts Working knowledge of Windows Server and RHEL (latest versions) Proficiency in AS2/AS3/AS4, sFTP protocols and secure data exchange Hands-on experience with certificate/key management and CRON jobs Exposure to ITIL-aligned incident, change, and SR handling Experience in designing and supporting integration architectures Competence in scripting (PowerShell and Shell) and automation tools Skilled in documentation for CSQA/security standards Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus Knowledge on Aws and Azure cloud is a Plus. Knowledge on Jira and relevant tools is a plus

Additional Details:



Availability to work flexible work hours is/may be required. This team will support continuous operations across two shifts and therefore, this rolewill require non-standard work hours, and some work on weekends and holidays.
