JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Developer with expertise in webMethods and EDI within the logistics domain. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in integration design, development, and production support, specifically using Software AG webMethods. This role demands a proactive individual who can build and maintain end-to-end integration solutions, API services, and manage B2B/EDI transactions effectively. The candidate should thrive in fast-paced environments and possess strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with both business and technical teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using webMethods and EDI standards to facilitate seamless data flow across enterprise systems. Provide production support for existing integration solutions, ensuring high availability and performance. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Onboard trading partners by configuring and managing EDI mappings and message queuing systems. Develop and maintain web services and API integrations to connect various applications and services. Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in logistics management and integration technologies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

3-4 years of experience in software development, specifically with webMethods and EDI in the logistics domain. Proficiency in B2B integrations and EDI mapping with XML, JSON, flat files, and EDI formats, along with a solid understanding of EDI standards. Experience with API integration and

REST and SOAP

web services development. Familiarity with trading partner onboarding processes and message queuing systems. Work with

Trading Networks (TN)

for partner setup, document processing, and EDI integration. Configure and manage

adapters

such as

JDBC, SAP, File, and MQ

. Implement

error handling, logging, and monitoring

mechanisms for robust integrations. Participate in

requirement analysis, testing, and deployment

of integration components. Support

incident resolution, performance tuning, and production maintenance

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. familiarity with Agile methodologies, knowledge of logistics management systems, and exposure to additional programming language like Java. #
