We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented webMethods Developer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in integration design, development, and support using Software AG webMethods. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in building end-to-end integration solutions, working with APIs, adapters, and data transformation to connect enterprise applications and external systems. A solid understanding of integration principles, workflows, and best practices is essential to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Developer will design, develop, and test Flow Services using webMethods Integration Server and Designer, ensuring robust integration across systems. Responsibilities include creating and consuming SOAP and REST APIs for seamless system-to-system communication, performing data mapping and transformation between XML, JSON, and flat file formats, and working with various adapters such as JDBC, SAP, File, and MQ for backend and third-party integration. The role also involves supporting B2B/EDI integrations using Trading Networks (TN) and document types, implementing error handling, logging, and exception management to enhance reliability. Additionally, the Developer will assist in unit testing, deployment, and production support while collaborating with business analysts and senior developers to align integration solutions with business requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in software development, particularly with webMethods and EDI standards.
Familiarity with logistics management and web services.
Proficiency in API integration and trading partner onboarding.
Knowledge of message queuing, EDI mapping, and EDI communication protocols.
Strong EDI troubleshooting skills.
