Opportunity Has overall sales responsibility for customer relationships and performance of an assigned customer portfolio for a medium impact client base in any size cluster/geographical area. Key Responsibilities The individual will have sales responsibility for customer relationships and performance of an assigned customer portfolio in Cold Chain client base in North India. o New Customer Acquisition, renewals in line with priorities of the Area. This would be most important Objective o Manage assigned customers and budget base - with a view of build a portfolio and business plan for the next 3 years. o Develop customer value propositions for all appropriate business opportunities. Strive for consultative sales to distinguish market presence by effectively probing and identifying needs and suggesting solutions to help customers. o Build a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base (contact, commodities, trade lanes, type of business, contract information including exceptions and service requirements). o Establish internal network in India cluster and globally to facilitate resolution of customer issues. o Build understanding of all service offerings to be able to offer integrated solutions. o Communicate significant trends, rate changes and policies to assigned accounts. o Ensure Customer Relationship Management tools (Salesforce.com) are updated on time and with high-quality data. Who we are looking for: o You should possess enthusiasm, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. o Logistics work experience of 5-7 years. o Would need a certain amount of travel, within the country - depending on business needs o Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and build good engagement levels o A self-starter, who can work with complex business solutions and work through ambiguity. o Should be able to be in the constant hunt for new business and ensure their movement through the sales cycle. o You should have excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (both written and oral). o In addition, you should have organizational and time management skills including multitasking, prioritising, and the ability to plan work activities efficiently to meet deadlines.
