Job Summary:



Altor Hospitals is seeking detail-oriented and efficient

Insurance Coordinators

to manage all aspects of health insurance processes including pre-authorizations, claim submissions, and TPA communications. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate processing of insurance-related matters, supporting both patients and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:



Handle pre-authorization requests and approvals for inpatient and day-care procedures from insurance companies/TPAs. Ensure accurate and complete documentation for insurance claims as per the policy requirements. Coordinate with patients, consultants, and TPA representatives for documentation, clarifications, and follow-ups. Submit claims (manual and electronic) in a timely manner and track claim status. Address claim queries, rejections, and discrepancies; ensure prompt resubmission or corrections as needed. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients at the time of admission. Liaise with billing, admissions, and discharge teams to ensure smooth insurance processing. Maintain updated knowledge of various insurance policies, packages, and TPA protocols. Generate daily reports on pending approvals, submitted claims, and settled claims. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient confidentiality, and insurance standards.

Qualifications & Skills:



Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Healthcare Administration, Commerce, or Insurance). 1-3 years of experience in a hospital insurance/TPA coordination role. Strong understanding of health insurance policies, TPA procedures, and claim processing. Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and local language. Attention to detail, analytical ability, and customer service mindset. Proficient in MS Office and Hospital Management Systems (HMS).

Work Schedule:



Regular day shifts with extended hours or weekend duties as required by the billing cycle.
