to manage our in-house insurance team at the car showroom. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in Automobile insurance, preferably in a dealership environment, with a proven ability to lead a team, drive targets, and ensure seamless insurance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the showroom insurance team to drive daily, monthly, and quarterly insurance sales and renewals.
Ensure timely processing of new car insurance, renewals, endorsements, and claim coordination.
Set performance goals for the team and monitor their progress regularly.
Collaborate with sales, delivery, and finance teams to ensure smooth insurance workflow for every car delivery.
Liaise with insurance company representatives to negotiate better rates, schemes, and resolve customer issues.
Train team members on new insurance products, customer handling, and compliance.
Ensure complete documentation and adherence to IRDA and dealership policies.
Maintain MIS reports on team performance, insurance penetration, and revenue generation.
Handle escalated customer queries and provide prompt resolutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline; additional certifications in insurance preferred.
Minimum
5 years of relevant experience in automobile insurance
.
Prior experience in a
car dealership or automobile showroom
is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of insurance processes - issuance, renewal, add-on covers, and claims.
Excellent team management, communication, and customer service skills.
Target-driven and result-oriented mindset.
Proficient in MS Excel, email communication, and dealership/insurance systems.
