Role Title: Insurance Support Specialist II
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for executing insurance product and service delivery support. This is the first of two levels within this job family. The Insurance Support Specialist I handles various tasks on small to medium-size global accounts with increasing complexity requiring technical knowledge of systems and procedures, under direct supervision. The role contributes to the full lifecycle for processing of new business, renewals and mid-term changes. Performs various insurance product and service delivery support under supervision and direction in order to ensure timely delivery of quality products to new and existing clients. All activities are in support of and at the direction of the authorized individual(s) within FM licensed territories. Supports the WorldReach Partner policy cycle when applicable. In addition, this position provides good quality customer service for internal and external client needs and adheres to quality and timeliness objectives.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the collection, review and processing of prospect / client locations and values in corporate systems.
  • Maintains client and broker contact information and document distribution instructions.
  • Prepares certificates of insurance and proof of insurance documentation as a result of client and broker requests in accordance with documented terms and conditions, territory requirements and company compliance.
  • Distributes underlyer policies, invoices, cancellations and endorsement documentation in accordance with client and corporate instructions for designated territories.
  • Facilitates, prepares and obtains required approval for generating pool quotes, including but not limited to regulatory quotes.
  • Follows corporate procedures, guidelines and governance for processing of insurance deliverables.
Skill and Experience:
  • 1 to 2 years of experiencerequired to perform essential job functions.
  • Additional Experience Qualifier (optional): Preferably within an insurance, finance or other regulatory environment. Combination of education and work experience will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, primarily Excel Good Communication skills, both oral and written in English. Embraces teamwork Team-player, with ability to work independently

  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Multiple language skills preferred. French, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

  • Microsoft Office 365 and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to learn and understand proprietary business systems and workflow tools.
  • Strong with problem-solving and analytical skills, organization, Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Strong math aptitude
  • Strong time management skills: ability to plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility / adaptability to change; ability to multi-task; executing multiple tasks simultaneously
Acts as a trainer / mentor, user champion and content expert * Fluent reading / writing / communicating in English.Prefer additional language skills: French, Spanish, German, Portuguese
Education and Certifications:
  • High School or GED
  • University coursework preferred
