Job Description

The Insurance Officer will be responsible for promoting and selling insurance products (life, health, or general insurance), maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring proper documentation and policy issuance, and supporting the branch in achieving its insurance-related goals.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and approach potential customers for various insurance products. Explain insurance products clearly and recommend appropriate solutions based on customer needs. Ensure complete and accurate documentation for all policies issued. Follow up on leads, renewals, and premium payments. Coordinate with insurance partners for quotations, underwriting, claim settlements, and policy servicing. Ensure compliance with internal policies, IRDAI regulations, and audit guidelines. Maintain regular MIS reports and update customer interaction records. Conduct customer awareness programs or camps, if required. Assist in achieving branch-level insurance targets.
