The Insurance and Mutual Fund Executive is responsible for promoting, selling, and managing life insurance, general insurance, and mutual fund products to individual and corporate clients. The role involves understanding client needs, providing financial planning advice, and achieving sales targets in line with company goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development
:
Acquire new clients for insurance and mutual fund products.
Generate leads through referrals, cold calling, digital channels, and networking.
Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Cross-sell insurance and investment products based on client profile.
2.
Client Relationship Management
:
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
Provide after-sales service and address client queries.
Conduct periodic portfolio reviews with clients.
3.
Financial Advisory & Planning
:
Understand the financial goals of clients and suggest suitable insurance and mutual fund solutions.
Educate clients on investment options, risk profiles, tax-saving plans, and returns.
4.
Compliance & Documentation
:
Ensure all documentation (KYC, application forms, disclosures) is completed correctly.
Comply with IRDAI, AMFI, and SEBI regulations.
Keep records of client interactions and transactions.
5.
Reporting & Targets
:
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Provide daily/weekly reports to the reporting manager.
Track market trends, competitor offerings, and update sales strategies accordingly.
