Insurance Manager
to oversee all hospital insurance operations and ensure smooth coordination with TPAs and insurance providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end hospital insurance operations including pre-authorization, claims processing, and reimbursement follow-up.
Liaise with TPAs, insurance companies, and patients for claim approvals and settlements.
Verify and process insurance claims as per policy terms and documentation standards.
Track and resolve claim rejections or pending cases efficiently.
Ensure compliance with IRDAI and NABH insurance-related protocols.
Prepare periodic MIS reports on claim submissions, settlements, and outstanding recoveries.
Coordinate with billing, accounts, and medical records departments for claim verification and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate in any discipline (BBA/B.Com/MBA in Hospital Administration or Insurance preferred).
Minimum
5 years of experience
in hospital insurance or TPA coordination (with at least 2 years in a managerial role).
Strong knowledge of healthcare insurance procedures, corporate health tie-ups, and government schemes (CGHS, ESI, etc.).
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
