Welcare Hospital is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented
Insurance Manager
to lead and oversee the hospital's health insurance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing insurance claims, liaising with TPAs and insurance providers, and ensuring smooth coordination between the hospital billing team and insurance departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end
insurance claim processing
, pre-authorizations, approvals, and settlements
Coordinate with
TPAs (Third Party Administrators)
, insurance companies, and government health schemes
Oversee timely
submission of claims
and ensure minimum rejections or delays
Maintain accurate records of
claim status, denials, and follow-ups
Supervise the insurance billing team and ensure adherence to hospital and statutory guidelines
Act as the primary point of contact for insurance-related queries from patients and their families
Provide regular reports to management on insurance revenue, outstanding claims, and processing timelines
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferably in Healthcare Administration, Commerce, or related fields)
3-5 years of experience
in hospital insurance operations or TPA coordination
Sound knowledge of
, and regulatory requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in hospital information systems (HIS) and insurance portals
