Agency Channel Relationship Manager (ACRM)

builds, manages, and motivates a team of independent agents (the agency channel) to sell policies, focusing on recruitment, training, sales targets, and fostering strong agent/client relationships, acting as the bridge between the insurer and its distributed agent network for business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities of an Agency Channel Relationship Manager:



Agent Recruitment:

Finding, onboarding, and activating new insurance agents.

Training & Support:

Providing product knowledge, sales skills training, and joint field calls with agents.

Sales Management:

Driving sales through the network, achieving targets, and implementing strategies.

Relationship Building:

Nurturing strong bonds with agents and ensuring customer satisfaction/retention.

Performance Monitoring:

Tracking sales data, providing feedback, and coaching agents.

The Agency Channel:



This is a vital distribution model where insurance products are sold through a network of agents, not directly by the company. It relies heavily on the manager's ability to develop and lead this field sales force.
