The Insurance Executive is responsible for managing and selling motor insurance products to dealership customers. The role focuses on policy issuance, renewals, claims coordination, and ensuring a smooth insurance experience aligned with vehicle sales.
Key Responsibilities
Explain motor insurance products (new, renewal, add-ons) to customers
Coordinate with insurance companies for policy quotations and issuance
Process insurance documentation accurately and on time
Handle policy renewals and follow up with existing customers
Assist customers with insurance claims and liaise with surveyors/insurers
Maintain strong relationships with insurance partners
Ensure compliance with IRDA and company policies
Achieve assigned insurance sales targets
Maintain proper records, MIS reports, and customer data
Work closely with the sales team to maximize insurance penetration
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and customer-handling skills
Knowledge of motor insurance policies and procedures
Sales and negotiation skills
Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, CRM systems)
Ability to work under targets and deadlines
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred)
IRDA certification (mandatory or preferred, as per company policy)
Experience
1-3 years of experience in motor insurance or automobile dealership insurance
Freshers with insurance certification may also be considered
