Job Description

A Hospital Insurance Coordinator manages patient insurance, verifying coverage, processing claims, obtaining authorizations, and resolving billing issues, acting as a liaison between patients, providers, and insurers to ensure smooth revenue cycles and informed patient care, handling documentation, coding, and patient financial counseling. Key Responsibilities:

Insurance Verification & Eligibility

: Confirming patient coverage, benefits, and co-pays before services are rendered.

Claim Management

: Submitting claims, following up on denials, and resolving payment discrepancies with insurers.

Pre-authorization

: Securing approvals for specific treatments, medications, or procedures.

Patient Communication

: Explaining benefits, discussing financial responsibilities, and assisting with forms.

Documentation & Reporting

: Maintaining accurate patient records, billing data, and generating reports.

Collaboration

: Working with clinical staff, billing departments, and insurance companies.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
