insurance benefit verification, eligibility checks, and authorization workflows

to help clinics improve operational efficiency and revenue cycle accuracy.

Position Overview

We are expanding our Ahmedabad team and hiring

Insurance Benefit Verification & Authorization Specialists

who understand

how to call insurance companies

and

verify patient coverage and authorization requirements

. This role involves working directly with payers such as

Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna

, and other major U.S. insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

Call insurance companies for

benefit verification & eligibility checks

. Understand

insurance authorization rules

- visit-based, unit-based, or time-based. Verify

co-pay, deductible, co-insurance, and therapy coverage limitations

. Initiate and follow-up on

authorization requests

(fax, phone, portal). Document verified benefits in our

EMR / RCM software

accurately. Work closely with

front desk & billing teams

in U.S. physical therapy clinics. Maintain

daily trackers & productivity reports

.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in

insurance calling / RCM process / benefit verification

. Knowledge of

Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UHC

insurance rules. Experience with

EMR or practice management software

(preferred). Strong English

verbal communication

(phone-based conversations). Ability to work in

night shift (US time zone)

.

Added Advantage (Not Mandatory)

Knowledge of

Data Lake, Snowflake, or Data Warehousing concepts

. Experience with

healthcare automation or workflow tools

. Familiarity with

physical or occupational therapy billing guidelines

.

Qualifications

Graduate or undergraduate with

good English communication skills

. Experience in

benefit verification / authorization / RCM

is a strong plus. Ready to work

onsite

in Ahmedabad (

No Work-from-Home

option).
