Role Summary

The Insurance Advisor will focus on selling and servicing Super Visa medical insurance plans for parents and grandparents visiting Canada, guiding clients through eligibility, coverage options, and policy purchase in line with IRCC Super Visa requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate and qualify leads for Super Visa medical insurance through referrals, digital channels, and partner networks. Assess client needs (age, health, travel duration, budget) and recommend suitable Super Visa insurance plans that meet IRCC rules (minimum CAD 100,000 coverage, min. 1?year validity, emergency medical, hospitalization, repatriation). Explain policy benefits, exclusions, waiting periods, cancellation/refund rules, and renewal options in simple language. Assist clients with documentation, application forms, payment arrangements, and issuance of insurance certificates required for Super Visa applications. Maintain accurate client records, follow up on renewals/expiry, and coordinate with insurers on policy changes and claims support. Stay up to date on Super Visa program changes, OSFI?approved insurers, and product/price updates in the Canadian visitor insurance market.

Skills & Experience:

1-3+ years' experience in insurance sales (health, travel, or life) or financial services preferred. Strong knowledge or willingness to learn Super Visa eligibility and insurance requirements. Excellent communication and sales skills; ability to handle objections and close over phone, video, and in?person. Comfort with CRM tools and online quote/issuance portals.

Qualifications:

Valid provincial Life/Accident & Sickness or appropriate insurance license in Canada (or willingness to obtain, if required by province). Fluency in English; additional languages spoken by newcomer communities (e.g., Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, etc.) an asset for outreach to sponsors and families.
