Job Title: Ducting and Insulator Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret HVAC and insulation blueprints and drawings. Fabricate, install, and align HVAC duct systems. Apply insulation materials on ducts, pipes, and equipment. Measure, cut, and shape duct and insulation materials to required sizes. Seal duct joints and insulation layers to ensure energy efficiency and system integrity. Use tools such as shears, snips, hand seamers, and insulation knives. Perform quality checks on completed installations. Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use and fall protection. Work independently or as part of a team on residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Report progress and issues to the site supervisor or project manager.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in ducting or insulation work. Knowledge of insulation materials and HVAC system components.
