Role Objective

The Instrumentation Senior 3D Modeler is responsible for providing expert-level support in the development, coordination, and management of detailed 3D models for instrumentation systems in industrial plant design. The position requires a high degree of technical proficiency with AVEVA E3D, combined with in-depth knowledge of instrumentation engineering, to ensure accurate and integrated design solutions that comply with project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations

Key Responsibilities

Lead the creation, management, and coordination of detailed 3D instrumentation models using
AVEVA E3D.

Interpret and convert engineering documentation (P&IDs, datasheets, layout drawings) into accurate
and integrated 3D models.

Collaborate proactively with cross-disciplinary teams (piping, electrical, mechanical) to ensure
consistent and clash-free design integration.

Execute and supervise clash detection processes, coordinating with relevant disciplines for
resolution.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering codes, and client requirements. Maintain and regularly update the 3D model database to reflect design changes and progress. Mentor junior modelers and contribute to their technical development within the team. Deliver high-quality engineering outputs such as layout drawings, isometric drawings, and detailed

3D views.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of 15 years of experience in 3D modeling with a focus on instrumentation for industrial
plants.

Extensive hands-on experience with AVEVA E3D software. Deep understanding of instrumentation systems, diagrams, and plant layout practices. Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex design issues independently. Solid knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISA, IEC). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; experience working in multidisciplinary teams. Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian is considered a plus. Bachelors degree in a technical or engineering field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
