Job Description

We are looking for

Instrumentation Engineer

with 5-10

years of experience

to support EPC project activities. The candidate should be capable of understanding

tender specifications

, interpreting

P&IDs

, and preparing

Bill of Materials (BOM)

for instrumentation and control systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering & Estimation

Study and understand

tender specifications, datasheets, and P&IDs

Prepare

Bill of Materials (BOM)

based on P&ID and tender requirements Prepare

I/O list

and

quantity estimation

Estimation of: Instrument hook-up materials Cables, cable trays Cable glands & lugs Structural steel quantities (instrument supports, racks, etc.)
Specifications & Vendor Coordination

Preparation of

technical specifications

for: Field instruments PLC / control systems Floating enquiries to vendors Technical evaluation of vendor offers Follow-up with vendors for

technical & commercial clarifications

Project Support

Coordination with internal engineering and project teams Support during tendering, engineering, and execution stages Site visits as required for clarification and coordination
Qualifications

Diploma / BE / BTech in

Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics / Electrical & Instrumentation

5-10 years of relevant experience in

EPC projects

Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong understanding of

P&ID

Knowledge of

instrumentation systems and control philosophy

Experience in

BOM preparation and quantity estimation

Familiarity with

PLC systems

Good communication skills for vendor and internal coordination
