Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer

Experience Required:

5+ years (Oil & Gas, Petro-Chemical, Process industry preferred)

Education:

B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation

Key Responsibilities:

Design and specify instrumentation systems for oil and gas facilities, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurement devices.

Develop Instrument Index, IO list, Data Sheets, Loop Diagrams, Hook-up drawings, and Cable Schedules.

Selection and sizing of control valves, safety relief valves, and actuators.

Develop and review P&IDs and control philosophies.

Coordinate with DCS/PLC/SCADA systems integration teams.

Prepare technical bid evaluations and review vendor documents for instrumentation equipment.

Ensure all instrumentation designs comply with industry codes (ISA, IEC, API, etc.) and project specifications.

Support commissioning, calibration, and troubleshooting of field instruments.

Interface with other engineering disciplines, vendors, and clients.

Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures in all project phases.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Hands-on experience with field instrumentation, transmitters, analyzers, and control systems.

Familiarity with PLC/DCS systems (Siemens, Honeywell, ABB, Emerson, etc.).

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SPI (Intools), and other instrumentation design tools.

Strong knowledge of hazardous area instrumentation and Ex-certified equipment (ATEX/IECEx).

Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in EPC/EPCM oil & gas, Petro-Chemical, Process projects
