Position Details

? Designation: Resident Engineer - Instrumentation

? Qualification: BE/B Tech or equivalent in Instrumentation Engineering

? Location: Jalgaon-Bhusawal, Nagpur (Maharashtra)

? Experience: 2-5 years

? Employment Type: Full-time

? Reports To: Project Manager

? Salary: As per industry norms (no bar for deserving candidates)

4. Key Responsibilities

? Monitor execution works ensuring quality and safety compliance.

? Conduct site visits, data collection, and field activities for instrumentation & SCADA works.

? Plan and design instrumentation systems, including P&IDs, GA drawings, datasheets, and hook-

up drawings in AutoCAD.

? Prepare estimates, BOQs, and technical specifications aligned with process requirements.

? Support DPRs, tenders, feasibility studies, and technical reports.

? Coordinate with process, civil, and mechanical teams during design and implementation.

? Install, test, and validate instruments (ultrasonic flowmeters, leak detection equipment, pressure

transmitters, etc.).

? Review vendor quotes, interact with suppliers, and support technical scrutiny.

? Prepare site visit reports, technical presentations (PPTs), and client-facing documentation.

? Participate in client and government meetings to demonstrate organisational technical

capabilities.

? Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and quality requirements.

? Represent the organization in client/government meetings.

5. Knowledge & Skills

? Experience in water supply and sewerage projects, with knowledge of state DSRs and

estimation.

? Strong understanding of process instrumentation, SCADA systems, and water/wastewater

processes (WTP/STP/ETP), in-depth knowledge of MJP, PWD, and state/central DSRs with

estimation capability.

? Awareness of acts, regulations, and government schemes in the water sector.

? Knowledge of clearances, permissions, and sewage/water quality standards.

? Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Earth, MS Office, and internet-based tools

? Hands-on experience in the development, implementation, and testing of instrumentation &

SCADA for water supply, wastewater, and reuse systems

? Strong documentation, estimation, and report-preparation skills

6. Leadership & Teamwork

? Deliver outputs as per project/client timelines.

? Maintain proactive communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

? Support project managers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

7. Mandatory Qualifications

? Education: BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering.

? Experience: 2-5 years in instrumentation & SCADA for water/wastewater/reuse projects.

? Technical Competencies: Instrument design, installation, vendor coordination, and project

estimation.

? Professional Competencies: Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, with strong communication

skills.
