POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for Designing various Instrumentation and Electrical Documents including complex P&I drawings, Wiring, Selection of instrument components & controls, Electrical panels and drives for various Flowserve Projects Independently against specific customer order and project specifications. This position will require working on multiple projects and Engineering assignments. Individual is required provide technical solutions to the team and assist the supervisor in improving the skill sets of the team members and towards improvement of the development objectives of the individuals. This Individual is also responsible for providing solutions for queries and issues raised by customers and ensure overall quality & on-time delivery of submittals.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• To understand and revise various instrumentation documents like P&ID\xe2\x80\x99s, Wirings, and other basic documents using Autodesk products/software and Microsoft tools.
• Work independently and assist the team in selection of instruments & electrical Equipment like transmitters, gauges, valves, Analog / Digital devices, switches, drivers, controls and monitoring systems.
• Proficient in performing FAT / SAT at supplier or customer location or any other facility.
• Capable of independently handling & leading customer meetings (HAZOP, kick-off, Technical meets) with ease.
• Proficient in reviewing various standards, creating specification reviews, design the systems related to electrical and instrumentation based on project requirements.
• Should be capable of handling multiple projects at a time and training the team in required skill sets.
• Proficient in the subjects of Instrumentation, Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Good knowledge of field instruments, Utility, and electrical with Installation knowledge.
• Knowledgeable in the creation of documents and drawings in INtools, basic PLC Programming knowledge would be an added advantage.

• Experience of more than a year as Staff Instrumentation Engineer.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD & INtools. Knowledge on E-Plan, PLC programming in Codesys is an added advantage.
• Proficient in selection of various transmitters, gauges & switches (Pressure, Level, Temperature and Flow), Vibration sensors, Monitoring systems understanding the customer requirements.
• Good knowledge of field instruments, Utility and electricals with Installation knowledge.

• Awareness of International standards related to Electrical & Instrumentation (ASME, ANSI, API, ISA, IEC).
• Excellent analytical and Interpersonal skills.
• A high level of self-motivation, flexibility and self-learning aptitude.
• Good team player and able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities.
