Maintenance, calibration, and testing of instrument, electrical and electronic instruments used in the distillery.
Routine monitoring and preventive maintenance of instrumentation to ensure high availability and reliable operation.
Troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of instrumentation equipment to maintain process efficiency.
Modification, data collection, and updating of analyzer and sample systems.
Ensuring all work follows safety procedures, permits, and regulations.
Managing instrumentation systems related to process control such as level, temperature, pressure sensors, control valves, flow measurement, and safety systems.
Leading root cause analysis and breakdown analysis in case of instrument failures.
Supervising and coordinating work of technicians and shift teams handling instrumentation.
Collaborating with other engineers, production staff, and maintenance teams to optimize and ensure safe and efficient distillery operations.
Skills & knowledge:
Strong foundation in electrical, electronics, and instrumentation engineering, typically requiring a bachelor's degree or Diploma in Instrumentation field.
Expertise in control systems such as PLC Allan Bradley, DCS (Distributed Control System) Honey well Experion and Schneider DCS with Ecostruxure Automation Expert Platform, and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition).
Proficiency in calibration, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic instruments used in the plant.
Knowledge of sensors, transducers, flow, temperature, pressure, and level measurement instruments
and Transmitters critical for process control in distilleries.
Calibration of instruments with Standard Calibrators.
Ability to work with analyzers and sample systems, including modifications and data collection related to process monitoring.
