Vacancy for Instrumentation & Commissioning Engineer

The position / About the Job:

In this job the Instrumentation & Commissioning engineer would be responsible for:

• Plan & schedule the EIA related activities for the project.
• Handle & execute simple hard/ software orders independently in consultation with PM, delivering equipments/ or plants as per the contract requirements within the project budget & agreed time
• Field Instruments selection & sizing
• Preparation of Instrument Index, Data sheets (Specification sheets), BOM, Cable & JB schedule, PLC IO Calculation/List ,
• Perform calculations like Cv , UPS & Battery , heat dissipation, Air consumption
• Design of PLC Panels, JB\xe2\x80\x99s. electrical panels in low voltage.
• Understanding on Control Valve selection & sizing.
• Develop the alternative design for new product development.
• Knowledge on Instrumentation standards IEC, BS, ANSI, NFPA, ISA,UL is must.
• Person should know the CE, UL norms & HAZOP study.
• Review engineering documents, analyse design and retrieve information to complete the project design documentation.
• Review of vendor drawings & documents, technical bid evaluation
• Support for procurement action
• Coordinate the planning of the design activities.
• Understanding \xef\x80\xa6\xef\x80\xa0assistance in design and development for following areas: -

- Control room layout

- PLC Panel GA, wiring, BOM drawing

- Cable Tray layout & related BOM generation

- Instrument Installation /hook-up Drawings

• PLC-Knowledge on PLC System architecture, type of PLC, I/O cards, HMI,SCADA
• Participate in proposal and sales work as & when required
• Support Supply Chain in identifying, evaluating & selecting the alternate vendors.
• Cost estimation & approval of electrical systems
• Attend site meetings with customer, consultants and external suppliers
• 6-10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with engineering

Who you are

Knowledge / Qualification :

• B.E. Instrumentation & Control Engineering (required).

Skills:

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Detailed knowledge of Instrumentation designing tools, INTOOLS and ePlan.
• +3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with engineering
• Good knowledge and experience with project work.
• Cross-cultural awareness.
• PLC programming awareness
