Role Overview The Instrumental Music Teacher is responsible for teaching students how to play musical instruments, developing their musical skills, discipline, and appreciation of music. The teacher will guide students in instrumental techniques, music theory basics, and performance skills, and prepare them for school events and cultural programs.
Key Responsibilities Teaching & Curriculum Teach instrumental music to students across different age groups (Primary, Middle, and Secondary levels).
Provide training in one or more instruments such as Keyboard, Piano, Violin, Guitar, Flute, Drums, Tabla, Veena, or other instruments as required by the school.
Introduce students to basic music theory, rhythm, notation, and scales.
Plan structured lessons according to students' skill levels and school curriculum.
Demonstrate correct posture, finger placement, tuning, and playing techniques.
Student Development Encourage musical creativity, discipline, and confidence in students.
Identify and nurture students with special musical talent.
Assess student progress and provide regular feedback for improvement.
Prepare students for solo and group performances.
Performances & Events Train students for school assemblies, annual day functions, festivals, and cultural programs.
Prepare instrumental ensembles and support dance and vocal music performances when required.
Assist in preparing students for inter-school competitions and events.
Classroom & Instrument Care Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment during classes.
Ensure proper handling, care, and storage of musical instruments.
Guide students on instrument maintenance and safety.
Collaboration & Administration Coordinate with music, dance, and other teachers for cultural activities.
Maintain attendance records, lesson plans, and performance assessments.
Communicate with parents regarding student progress when required.
Qualifications & Experience Degree or Diploma in Music (Instrumental) from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in one or more musical instruments.
Teaching experience in a school or music academy preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
