A qualification in Instrument Technology or a related field is required.
Experience:
Prior experience in instrumentation is typically needed, especially in a manufacturing or industrial equipments.
Key responsibilities :
Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic instrumentation and control systems, including sensors, transmitters, and controllers.
Calibration: Calibrate instruments to ensure they are providing accurate and reliable data, meeting industry standards and regulations.
Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and defects, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all equipment operates at peak performance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance, calibration, and repair activities, often using a computerized maintenance management system.
Collaboration: Work with engineering and production teams to implement improvements, modify systems, and support new instrumentation
