Job Tittle: Instrument Maintenance cum Calibration Engineer Department: DSIR R&D centre/Testing Laboratories Reports to: Director Technical/Manager Quality and Lab Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Electronics and or Instrumentation Location: Silvassa-D&NH Experience: About 5-7 years in maintaining of Computerized Mechanical/pilot Testing Instruments/Rheometers on polymers/Thermal Analyzers/FTIR and quality management, preferably in the field of rubber Testing Lab Scope of work and responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Responsible for Erection, Installation and Commissioning of R&D testing Equipments \xc2\xb7 Responsible for looking after Preventive/Periodic/Breakdown Maintenance of various Testing and Analytical Instruments \xc2\xb7 Intermediate Check of the performance of the Testing Instruments using secondary or working Standards \xc2\xb7 Calibration of the Instruments using primary standards and calibration of software interfaced with the instruments. \xc2\xb7 Maintaining of Calibration and its records of various equipments from accredited Calibration laboratory. \xc2\xb7 Keeping inventory of spares and accessories of various equipment. \xc2\xb7 Keeping records of the Instrument upkeep, logbook, assist testing personnel in trouble shooters during actual testing. \xc2\xb7 Coordinating in laying down specifications and testing SOPs with periodic up-dation \xc2\xb7 Handling of different mechanical and chemical testing, preferably, on instruments like Mechanical/Tensile Tester, FTIR Spectrophotometer, DSC/TGA, GC, GCMS, TOC and any other instruments being acquired from time to time. \xc2\xb7 Exposure to Quality Management System- ISO 17025:2017/ISO 9001 and ISO 50001 \xc2\xb7 Maintaining all records/documents of testing and quality assurance activities \xc2\xb7 Perform statistical analysis of the data so compiled/collected for continuous improvement in quality using digitalized data base from the instruments. \xc2\xb7 To communicate with concerned production and material management staff on deviations and vendor rating \xc2\xb7 Prepare/Review of Standard operating Procedures and allied documents under Lab Accreditation by NABL as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 To coordinate with the concerned testing staff for proper maintenance/calibration of the lab equipment and tools including timely calibrations Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: \xe2\x82\xb9700,000.00 - \xe2\x82\xb9800,000.00 per year Schedule:
