Job Responsibility

Design and development: Create and develop new control systems and design related components. This includes preparing specifications, datasheets, and drawings for instruments, cables, and control logic. Installation and commissioning: Oversee the installation and initial setup of new C&I equipment and systems to ensure they function correctly according to project specifications. Maintenance and troubleshooting: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on existing systems, which can involve diagnosing and solving problems in real-time. This includes work on PLCs and other automation equipment. System management: Manage the day-to-day operation of control systems, potentially including shift operations in places like power plants. This involves using disciplines like SCADA and DCS to monitor and control processes. Instrumentation: Work with a wide range of field instruments, such as those that measure temperature, pressure, flow, and level, and are responsible for their calibration and testing. Documentation and reporting: Maintain detailed logs of activities, performance data, and system maintenance work to ensure accurate records and compliance with standards. Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering and operational departments, such as electrical, mechanical, and purchasing teams. Continuous improvement: Analyze processes and implement new technologies or methods to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
