Industry Type: oil & gas Position: INSTRUMENT AND CONTROL DESIGN ENGINEER Location : CHENNAI Contract - 1 Year Extendable QUALIFICATION: BE/B TECH - INSTRUMENT EXPERIENCE: 8 - 18 YRS 1. PRINCIPAL ENGINEER - CONTROL & INSTRUMENTATION Graduates in Instrumentation/Electronics with 13 - 18 years of experience Experience in Design and Detail Engineering including preparation , Checking and review of Instrument Index, Data Sheet, Specification for Field Instruments and Control systems, SAMA/Logic diagrams, Sizing of Flow Element Valves, Construction drawings and knowledge in DCS/PLC systems Experience in following areas - Valves & flow elements sizing calculations Field instrumentation selection Preparation / checking of inst. index , I/O list, datasheets, MRs, TBE, VDR/VDI Pre-order and post-order activities Handling package interface, inter-discipline co-ordination Participation in HAZOP / SIL activities Generation and checking of process and F&G C&E matrix. Exposure to DCS / ESD / PLC / F&G Interaction with client / licensor / PMC / vendor Conversant with international engineering standards Conversant with QA / QC procedures Capable of supervising & guiding all design activities Experience in INtools & 3-D modelling FEED / EPC experience Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petro-chemical experience Graduates in Instrumentation/Electronics with 13 - 18 years of experience Software Proficiency : SPI, Conval, Vendor sizing software 2. SENIOR ENGINEER - CONTROL & INSTRUMENT Preparation of Instrument Index and I/O list Sizing and Selection of suitable instruments based on application requirement. Knowledge on various type of instruments and their application limitation Preparation of Instrumentation data sheet for all type of field instruments, Control valves and actuated on-off valves Preparation of control system vendor scope for modification and upgrade Preparation of Material Requisition, Supplier document list Evaluation of vendor quotation and preparation of technical bid evaluation and recommend for PO. Review of Post order supplier documents and distribute to relevant disciplines to get the IDC and collate and return to supplier and approve the documents on time Liaising with Process, Piping, Structural , electrical and THSE for the required input Guide the designers for the preparation of Instrumentation drawings Prepare and Check all Instrument drawings / documents and ensure that the quality of design and drawings produced for enquiry and fabrication purposes is of satisfactory standard Experience in detailed engineering of offshore brownfield projects 8+ Years experience in EPC / FEED projects for Oil and Gas Industry. Bachelor\'s Degree in Control and Instrumentation Should Poses good communication and Interpersonal Skill Experience in SPI, AVEVA Instrumentation, Smart plant review, ConVAL, Instrucal Also I would like to confirm below details.
