. The role will lead instructional design strategy, ensure content quality, and mentor instructional design teams across multiple CTE clusters.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead instructional design decisions and maintain quality standards across projects
Review and approve instructional artifacts (blueprints, storyboards, assessments)
Mentor and guide Instructional Designers on pedagogy and SME-led models
Ensure alignment with US K-12 CTE frameworks and best practices
Own and update instructional guidelines throughout the development lifecycle
Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders on design changes and scope updates
Required Skills & Experience:
6-10+ years of experience in Instructional Design
Minimum 2 years in a Senior / Lead Instructional Designer role
Strong experience in
CTE / vocational education content
Experience with
US K-12 education system
Expertise in instructional models such as:
5E Instructional Model
Gradual Release of Responsibility
Experience designing modular, objective-driven learning content
Preferred Skills:
Middle & high school CTE pedagogy experience
Knowledge of industry certifications and state CTE standards (e.g., TEKS)
Strong stakeholder and team management skills
