About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented
Senior Instructional Designer
to support our Training & Development team for a short-term engagement of
3-6 months
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing learning content. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, and employees to build user-centric, engaging and impactful learning experiences across digital and classroom-based training programs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Learning Content Design & Development
Design and develop
instructionally sound
learning content, modules, job aids, guides, and assessments.
Convert existing materials into
engaging, interactive
formats.
Build
storyboards
, visual layouts, and learning paths.
Apply adult learning principles, microlearning, and blended learning strategies.
Develop eLearning content using tools such as
Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, or Canva
.
Create visually appealing layouts, graphics, animations, and videos to support learning content.
Ensure content is SCORM-compliant (if applicable).
2. Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with
Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
to gather content requirements and validate accuracy.
Coordinate with trainers to ensure training objectives are met.
Participate in reviews, incorporate feedback, and finalize deliverables.
Manage multiple training design projects simultaneously.
Estimate timelines, track progress, and deliver solutions within deadlines.
Maintain documentation and version control for all design-related assets.
Maintain brand & formatting standards in all training materials.
Conduct internal quality checks to ensure clarity, accuracy, and instructional effectiveness.
Technical Skills:
Content Creation Experience in Solar Energy / Renewable Energy
Mastery in one or more eLearning tools: Articulate Storyline / Rise, Adobe Captivate, Canva, MS PowerPoint (Advanced)
Understanding of Bloom's Taxonomy and adult learning principles.
Advanced graphic design and video editing skills.
