This position can be based in WRI offices either Brazil, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Mexico or United States. Existing work authorization is required at the time of application submission. About the Program: WRI Ross Center builds on WRI\'s global and local experience in urban planning and mobility, and uses proven solutions and action-oriented tools to increase building and energy efficiency, manage water risk, encourage effective governance and make the fast-growing urban environment more resilient to new challenges. Aiming to influence 200 cities with unique research and tools, WRI Ross Center focuses on a deep cross-sector approach in selected megacities on two continents, and targeted assistance to additional 50 urban areas, bringing economic, environmental and social benefits to people in cities around the globe. Job Highlight: Reporting to: Learning & Knowledge Exchange Manager. In this role, you will: Assist with the continued development of the Learning Management System (LMS) by collaborating with project teams to create and deliver knowledge dissemination and capacity development products such as e-courses, webinars and other learning resources Participate in WRI discussions on eLearning and instructional design best practices Support documentation and exchange of lessons learned through qualitative and quantitative monitoring activities and general programmatic delivery across WRI Ross Center Engage with the Communications & Engagement team to translate qualitative and quantitative impact data and project milestones into coherent and concise formats for internal and external storytelling The respective Team members will support you. What will you do: Front-end development and content design for TheCityFixLearn (60%): Assist with the continued development of the Learning Management System (LMS) by collaborating with project teams to create and deliver knowledge dissemination and capacity development products such as e-courses, webinars and other learning resources Participate in WRI discussions on eLearning and instructional design best practices Work closely with project teams and partners to integrate social and gender equity considerations into programmatic delivery from the perspective of knowledge dissemination and learning Maintain the City Fix Learn website that is WordPress based and the Learn Dash LMS management system as well as create and integrate courses created in articulate software Institutional Learning (40%): Support documentation and exchange of lessons learned through qualitative and quantitative monitoring activities and general programmatic delivery across WRI Ross Center Engage with the Communications & Engagement team to translate qualitative and quantitative impact data and project milestones into coherent and concise formats for internal and external storytelling Assist the Strategic Planning & Alignment Manager, PMEL Manager and technical leads in conducting knowledge sharing and learning within technical work streams, including the articulation of processes to surface project implementation-related learning Collaborate with the Research & Engagement Specialist to advance WRI Ross Center\'s knowledge strategy and broader institutional learning agenda that includes both internal and external audiences Collaborate with the Project Management Office team towards improving knowledge management processes and practice across WRI Ross Center\'s technical teams What will you need: Education : Bachelor\'s degree in Learning, Instructional Design, Education, or relevant field or equivalent experience and history Experience : Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience, preferably as a learning experience designer, multimedia and graphic designer, or similar experience. Experience with supporting institutional learning and knowledge management is desirable Languages: English and a secondary WRI language - Spanish, Portuguese, Bahasa, Turkish Requirements : Existing work authorization is required where the position is based.
