Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Assembly

Install elevator components including rails, cabins, doors, motors, controllers, and wiring. Assemble mechanical and electrical parts according to engineering drawings and manufacturer specifications. Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and fitting of components. Install safety systems and test operational mechanisms.

2. Site Coordination

Assist in site preparation and ensure availability of required tools, equipment, and materials. Coordinate with civil teams for shaft readiness, machine room access, and required infrastructure. Report installation progress and issues to the supervisor.

3. Testing & Commissioning

Perform pre-commissioning checks and calibrations. Conduct functional tests for speed, leveling accuracy, door operation, and safety systems. Identify and rectify faults during testing phases. Assist in final commissioning with senior engineers.

4. Safety & Compliance

Follow all safety protocols and ensure safe working practices at customer sites. Comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Maintain proper documentation for installation and safety procedures.

5. Customer Interaction & Support

Communicate professionally with clients on installation activities. Provide basic operational guidance once installation is complete. Address minor on-site technical queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field. Minimum

1.5+ years of experience

in elevator installation or maintenance. Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings. Basic knowledge of elevator control systems and components. Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of site safety practices. Good communication and teamwork skills.
