Job Title: Installation & Commissioning Trainee

Location : Chandigarh, Patna, Gurugram

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated

Installation & Commissioning Trainee

to join our technical team. This role is ideal for

freshers or diploma holders

who have a passion for

Ubuntu/Linux systems, networking basics, and hands-on troubleshooting

. The role will primarily involve

on-site installation, configuration, and commissioning activities

(travel expenses covered by the company).

The candidate will work with

Linux environments, networking equipment, and remote access tools

while gaining practical industry exposure.

Responsibilities

Assist in

installation and commissioning

of systems at client sites. Work on

Ubuntu/Linux environments

for setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. Configure and manage

systemctl services

in Ubuntu. Perform

basic Linux commands

(ping, traceroute, file system navigation, etc.) for diagnostics. Configure

IP addresses, switches, and netplan networking

. Use

remote access software (AnyDesk, SSH, etc.)

for support and monitoring. Collaborate with the senior technical team to execute site installations efficiently. Provide basic

network connectivity checks

and troubleshooting. Document installation processes and site reports. Ensure compliance with safety and site protocols.

Requirements

Qualification:

Diploma (Computer Science, Electronics, IT, Networking, or related field).

Experience:

Freshers are welcome (hands-on academic/project experience with Linux/Networking preferred). Skills & Knowledge:

Ubuntu/Linux (hands-on experience preferred)

Basic networking concepts

(IP, switches, routing basics)

Ubuntu netplan configuration

Systemctl services & process management

Basic Linux commands

(ping, ls, cd, system monitoring tools, etc.)

Remote access tools

(AnyDesk, SSH) Good communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel for site jobs (expenses covered by company).

Additional Advantage (Good to Have)

Basic knowledge of

Python scripting

for automation or system tasks.

Work Environment

Site-based role

(not office-based). Travel and accommodation expenses will be provided/covered by the company. Hands-on training and mentorship from senior engineers.
