Position: Installation & Commissioning Engineer

Location: As per project requirement (Site-based & travel)
Experience: 2-5 years (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation & Commissioning
Execute installation, erection, and commissioning of equipment used in lubricant and petrochemical plants (pumps, pipelines, reactors, mixers, tanks, filling lines, etc.).
Conduct site inspections, layout checks, and ensure compliance with project drawings, P&ID, and process flow diagrams.
Perform mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation checks before start-up.
Coordinate with site contractors for mechanical assembly, alignment, and system integration.
Conduct dry run, trial run, and full commissioning of machines and systems.
2. Technical Support & Supervision
Provide onsite technical support during installation and commissioning stages.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues during start-up.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards during all site activities.
Guide and supervise technicians, contractors, and site helpers.
3. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare installation reports, commissioning checklists, snag lists, and handover documents.
Maintain daily site progress reports and share updates with the project manager.
Validate equipment performance and generate FAT/SAT reports.
4. Client Communication
Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, technical scope, and timelines.
Conduct on-site training for client operators and maintenance teams.
Support client queries during commissioning and handover stages.
5. Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure strict compliance with safety rules, PPE usage, and site safety standards.
Follow industry norms and regulatory guidelines for petrochemical plants.
Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
Experience in petrochemical, lubricant, or process plant equipment preferred.
Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, pipelines, tanks, PLC-based systems.
Ability to read engineering drawings (P&ID, GA drawings, layout diagrams).
Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and client-handling abilities.
Willingness to travel and stay at project sites.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work under pressure and manage field challenges.
Hands-on experience with installation tools, testing instruments, and commissioning procedures.
Knowledge of safety standards and plant operation protocols.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
