We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inspection of Paint professional to join our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that paint products meet stringent quality standards through comprehensive inspection and analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of quality systems, precision measurement tools, and industry regulations such as ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and ISO 9001. The inspector will play a critical role in maintaining product integrity and compliance within manufacturing environments, utilizing advanced inspection equipment and methodologies.
Duties
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of paint products using vision inspection systems, calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to verify specifications.
Perform quality audits and analysis to identify deviations from quality standards and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards including ISO 13485, ISO 9001, CGMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations during the inspection process.
Collect and analyze data related to paint quality metrics, maintaining accurate records for traceability and reporting purposes.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to assess product conformity.
Participate in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Support quality management initiatives by assisting in root cause analysis and implementing process improvements within the manufacturing environment.
Conduct internal quality audits to verify adherence to quality systems and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
Proven experience in quality control or quality inspection within manufacturing environments, preferably in paint or related industries.
Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 9001, CGMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations.
Proficiency with measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately for quality assurance purposes.
Knowledge of calibration procedures for precision measuring instruments.
Experience conducting quality audits and utilizing QA/QC methodologies.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
