Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Trainee to join our dynamic sales team in the IT sector. This entry-level role is ideal for MBA graduates looking to kickstart their career in sales. As an Inside Sales Trainee, you will support the pre-sales process, learn the intricacies of IT sales, and contribute to driving business growth through effective communication and lead generation. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in pre-sales activities, including lead qualification, prospect research, and initial client outreach in the IT domain. Support the sales team in preparing proposals, demos, and presentations tailored to client needs. Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand industry trends in IT sales. Handle inbound inquiries and nurture leads through phone, email, and virtual meetings. Collaborate with senior sales executives to learn best practices and contribute to achieving sales targets. Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress in CRM systems. Continuously learn and adapt to new sales techniques, tools, and IT product knowledge.

Qualifications and Requirements

MBA in Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Basic knowledge of sales processes, particularly pre-sales in the IT industry (e.g., understanding software solutions, SaaS, or tech services). 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in sales or marketing (internships or freshers with strong academic projects may be considered). Must be immediately available to join.

Skills and Attributes

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively. Strong individual learner with a proactive attitude and willingness to self-study and adapt quickly. Basic proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot or similar), and digital communication platforms. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment but can work independently when needed.
